I started to practice Reformer Pilates with Pinar after 5 years gap.
After 8 sessions my view on Pilates has completely changed. I’m always positively surprised during the sessions and Pinar is surprised why I’m surprised.
In previous studios I practiced Reformer Pilates there was always a rush, a pressure to work with heavy springs, every time to push the body to limits as if it wouldn’t work if it doesn’t hurt, which was not a sustainable approach and I ended up giving up.
In our sessions with Pinar, I not only feel my body/muscles work very effectively but also move mindfully, and leave the sessions with a great sense of calm and strength. Pilates turned into an enjoyable routine, that I look forward to every session, and find my inner peace and get stronger in my body; rather than “I have to do it for my posture” activity.
After my twins’ delivery I ended to avoid core exercises but with Pinar’s progressive approach, my “I have no abs” turned into ‘look how I progressed” and this positive mindset is my number one gain.
